Class #9 - Research Poster

Students share their research to create a poster that captures all of the facts
they've uncovered in their research.
  1. In teams, students will share their research.
  2. Create a poster that organizes your information into 3 sections: Environmental, Economic and Human Impact.
  3. Take turns (in a circular fashion) sharing the information you gathered from your source.
  4. Each person shares and writes information in the correct section of the poster (with consensus from the group).
Students work collaboratively to design and fill their poster
with facts about their storm. Each student is involved in the process.
  5. Repeat this process until all information has been added. Check your notes, as your teammates share. If you have the same information, put a star next to it. This is important to notice.
  6. Conclusion: What questions does your group have? Which categories have a lot of information? Which categories are lacking information?
The research poster should reflect your best effort to create
high quality work. Make people say, "Wow!"
