Class #26 - iMovie Practice

LT: I can utilize the basic tools of iMovie to rebuild the Weathering the Storm exemplar video.

Before we begin making our own movies, each group will demonstrate a full understanding of iMovie’s basic tools. In order to do this, pairs of students (within each group) will work on a practice movie. We’ll give you the elements and tutorials and you will construct the movie. Right now we’re not focusing on acting or shooting scenes. We’re going to work with elements from the video that the Windsor 6 teachers made. Your goal is to recreate the video that the teachers made (visuals, video, sound and text). You will use the following 13 elements to make your video.

Below you will find tutorials about each tool that you need to use. Click on a link, watch the video, then try it yourself in iMovie on your MacBook. Go step by step! This is the key to your success. Speeding ahead will create confusion.

iMovie Basic Tools & Steps
